Brad Gamroth, CPA, CA is an operations focused financial leader with 15+ years of experience in various accounting and leadership roles.
Brad’s post-university career started off like many in Alberta, in the oilpatch. After becoming lead operator for a small oil company, Brad decided to put the ‘patch behind him and began articling at PwC Edmonton for his Chartered Accountant designation in 2009. During this time, in addition to local audits, Brad spent considerable time working in San Francisco supporting the audit team there after a local client was purchased by a large US corporation.
In early 2014 Brad started with a Nisku based oilfield services and manufacturing company, helping its sale to Boston based private equity that year. Brad quickly rose to CFO and was responsible for the company’s sale to Houston based private equity in 2021. During his tenure, Brad focused on better integrating finance and operations processes, working to remove the ‘silos’ often put up between the divisions. In addition to his regular finance activities, Brad spent notable time connecting with operation and sales teams, traveling to California, Colombia, Mexico, Oman, Barbados, Nigeria, amongst other places.
Starting in 2021, Brad moved to fractional CFO work and has been involved with a variety of companies, focusing on operations improvement, capital management, and financial modelling for M&A purposes.
