Gina Boucher, CPA, CA is an accomplished financial leader with over 20 years of experience in multinational organizations. She has expertise in the mining, utilities, oil and gas, logistics, research and development, and manufacturing sectors. Gina has a collaborative and cross functional mindset, having worked closely with senior management and boards of directors to drive growth and financial performance. She has proven success in financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, process optimization, treasury, governance, risk management, business and internal controls, accounting and administration, IT, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
During her 12-year tenure at Sherritt, Gina worked closely with senior management and cross-functional teams, implementing continuous improvement strategies to drive the strategic vision and improve financial results within the Metals Division and Fort Site Operations. She notably led a cross-functional team in achieving a $50M site-wide cash generation initiative over a 3-year period. Her roles at Sherritt included Director, Finance Fort Site, Director, Metals Information and Analysis, and Controller, Cobalt Refinery Company. Prior to that, Gina held financial leadership roles with NTCL and Regent Energy Group, and she began her accounting career at PwC, gaining experience in assurance, audit, and taxation.
Gina is deeply passionate about leadership, personal growth, and development. Currently pursuing her ICF coaching certification, she serves as an executive and leadership coach, helping clients unlock their full potential, develop effective strategies, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
In her personal life, Gina finds joy in spending time with her husband and two children, indulging in travel, camping, and golfing. She actively engages in community volunteering and serves as a mentor to CPA Alberta,
