Veronica Young is a Fractional Financial Controller with over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, and leadership. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta, she achieved a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well. Veronica earned her Chartered Accountant designation while articling at Deloitte & Touche, and subsequently moved into the private sector as a Business Analyst at Applus RTD, Financial Controller at Paragon Soil and Environmental Consulting Inc., and Financial Controller at Brock Canada. These experiences have honed Veronica’s skills in supporting growing and changing organizations. She loves setting organizations up for success and effecting positive transformation at every level.
Veronica is also passionate about volunteering, as demonstrated by tenures with BGCBigs, Edmonton Meals on Wheels, Bike Edmonton, and CPA Canada Financial Literacy. Born and raised in Edmonton, Veronica’s favorite summer festival is The Fringe.
